Croatia’s leading fixed and mobile telecoms provider Hrvatski Telekom (HT) is to be re-branded T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), from 1 October. The re-branding exercise will also see the creation of two new operating units – T-Com and T-Mobile – to handle fixed line and internet services, and mobile services respectively. The Croatian incumbent’s fixed line network business HTtel will assume the T-Com name – the first time that Deutsche Telekom (DT) has used the brand name outside its home market – while its mobile arm HTmobile will become the latest in a line of DT subsidiaries to come under the T-Mobile banner.
