Impsat wins local licence

Peru’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has awarded Impsat Peru a fixed line concession for the cities of Lima and Callao. Impsat expects to invest USD11.3 million in the new service over five years, rolling out 60,000 new lines. Services will initially be targeted at business users.
