KPN to offer triple play services

13 Aug 2004

KPN is looking to take on its cable company rivals at their own game by launching triple play services of its own within two or three months. KPN has struck a deal with Dutch TV broadcaster Digitenne to add digital video broadcasting (DVB) services to its portfolio of voice and data services. DVB coverage is currently limited to Randstad (the district which includes Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Untrech and the Hague), with a nationwide service expected by 2007.
