Telefónica improves roaming facilities

9 Aug 2004

Leading Peruvian mobile operator Telefónica Móviles Peru has ordered Fair Isaac Corporation’s RoamEx data exchange equipment which it will use to track roaming call records generated by its subscribers on other carrier networks. The new facility works by sending completed call detail records covering voice, message and data calls from the servicing operator to the home operator within seconds. Telefónica claims the equipment will enable it to provide a more efficient roaming service to its customers.
