Nokia wins GSM/GPRS deal from Bharti

Indian telecoms conglomerate Bharti Tele-Ventures has contracted Nokia to expand the GSM/GPRS network of its mobile subsidiary AirTel. The three-year deal is worth around USD275 million and will boost network capacity five fold.
