NITEL to have another crack at privatisation in June

12 Mar 2004

Nigeria Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) is to kick start its second privatisation attempt in June when a 20% tranche held by the government is listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange. NITEL aborted its last attempt in 2002 when preferred bidder, UK-based Investment International Limited, failed to pay for the 51% holding on offer.
