KPN boosts bottom line with tax deal

KPN has announced that its 2003 net profit will be boosted by EUR1.08 billion after it reached an agreement with the Dutch tax authorities concerning the reorganisation of its mobile businesses. The agreement concerns the restructuring of KPN Mobile and the group’s German cellco E-Plus. KPN’s 2003 annual report is due on 23 February.
