BT opens new MPLS node

21 Jan 2004

BT Group has opened a new multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) node in Toronto in line with the strategy announced last year to extend its IP infrastructure to the Americas. The company has also announced the inauguration of a newly upgraded end-to-end private line, single contract service between Canada and 20 countries, which it claims will help simplify the provision and management of trans-border services for global enterprises.
