Jazztel buys Netvoice

Jazztel, broadband provider in Spain and Portugal, has purchased Portuguese fixed line operator Netvoice Comunicações e Sistemas for EUR1.3 million in shares. Netvoice was founded in 2000 and sells indirect access and wholesale telecoms services predominantly in Lisbon and Porto. The deal is part of Jazztel’s attempts to increase in presence in the country and is subject to approval by the Spanish stock exchange.
