The winter sales (ii): state pushes for Telsource to offload Cesky Telecom stake

The Czech government used last week’s general assembly of Cesky Telecom to announce its intentions to push shareholder Telsource to relinquish its 27% stake no later than 16 February 2003. It also ruled that Telecom will grant due diligence to no more than five potential buyers. Telsource plans to sell its shares via a closed direct offer to institutional investors and securities traders.
