New players set for mobile market

Finland’s mobile market looks set to expand as new operators consider entering the country. According to local media reports TeliaSonera and Suomen 2G are engaged in talks with a number of companies, both domestic and foreign, interested in leasing network capacity from the telcos. It is thought that the recent introduction of number portability is fuelling interest in the market.
