More wholesale than retail traffic for KPN

28 Aug 2003

Dutch dominant telco KPN has reported that it has witnessed more wholesale traffic than retail traffic during the second quarter of 2003, with the total minutes standing at 10.85 billion and 9.95 billion respectively at the end of June. The operator has attributed the turnaround to the recent introduction of carrier pre-select for local calls, the stronger competition in the business market and the increased number of broadband subscriptions.
