MTN relaunches pre-pay

GSM operator MTN has resumed sales of its pre-pay call plans and phones, which it suspended in February following unforseen demand for the service. The cellco has spent the last three months expanding and upgrading its network as part of its ‘Project 366’ plan, which includes the construction of switching centres and 200 new base stations countrywide.
