Bosnia legitimises GSM operator

13 Jan 2003

The Bosnian telecommunications regulatory body has announced it will award a GSM licence to Eronet, a company backed by Croatian telco Hrvatske Telekom. Eronet has been operating without a licence since the early 1990s and is believed to have in the region of 90,000 customers. The licence will allow the company to expand its network nationally and compete on a level playing field with the country’s other operators GSMBIH and Mobilna Srpske.
