TeleGeography Research Director Alan Mauldin to present at SubOptic 2007

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

Alan Mauldin, Research Director at TeleGeography, a leading global
telecom market research firm will provide the introductory presentation
for a roundtable discussion, “Demand Drivers and the Global Bandwidth
Supply Chain” to be moderated by Stephen McClelland of
Telecommunications Magazine.

This session explores the impact of rising Internet usage on new cable
demand, and questions the motives behind some new cable builds. After
oversupplying transatlantic capacity in the late 1990s, the latest spate
of cable projects has left some industry veterans wondering whether the
Pacific will become the next Atlantic.
