TeleGeography’s Ethernet Pricing Service benchmarks the price of international Ethernet service. Prices are benchmarked by provider, capacity, service, and route.
Ethernet Pricing Benchmarks
The Ethernet Pricing Service provides PoP-to-PoP monthly lease charges (excluding access) from 28 carriers on 63 key routes. Data are updated twice annually, and are distributed in Excel and PDF format.
Data downloads
Ethernet and VPLS pricing data are updated twice annually, and delivered to subscribers as Excel downloads.
The Ethernet Pricing Workbook allows subscribers to:
- Search a statistical summary of the high, low, average, and median prices for each route, capacity, and Ethernet product
- Search for individual carrier monthly lease prices by city, capacity, and Ethernet product type
- Compare average and median prices by route, protection, and capacity for EoMPLS, EoSDH/SONET, and EoDWDM services
- Filter a price ranking of global routes by product, presentation, and capacity
The Ethernet VPLS Pricing Workbook allows subscribers to:
- Search a statistical summary of the high, low, average, and median prices for each city, capacity, and Class of Service (CoS)
- View monthly VPLS lease prices by city, carrier, capacity, and CoS
- Compare Class of Service pricing by city, carrier, and capacity
- View ranking of global cities by median VPLS price
Market Commentary
Subscribers to the Ethernet Pricing Service receive a semi-annual written summary of trends in Ethernet pricing by geography and capacity for EoMPLS, EoSDH/SONET, DWDM, and VPLS services.
