MegaFon Tajikistan boosts coverage, speeds in Sughd province

MegaFon Tajikistan has announced the deployment of more than 500 new base stations across the Sughd province. With the company saying it has rolled out the new infrastructure with a view to both boosting network coverage and increasing the speed of its mobile broadband services, it has confirmed the deployment of 300 3G base stations and 200 2G base stations in locations such as Spitamen, Konibodom and Khujand. MegaFon Tajikistan has said that some 135,000 people will benefit from the new infrastructure.
