Telecom Liechtenstein, Mobilkom merger completed

29 Aug 2014

State-owned Telecom Liechtenstein has confirmed on its website that on 27 August 2014 it completed the previously announced merger with Mobilkom Liechtenstein (FL1), the local mobile subsidiary of the Telekom Austria Group. Mobilkom Liechtenstein has ceased to exist as a legal entity and now forms part of a converged mobile, internet, fixed line telephony and television operator under the Telecom Liechtenstein name, but the FL1 brand has been adopted by the merged company for marketing services. Telekom Austria took a 24.9% stake in the enlarged operator, and the Principality retains 75.1% ownership.
