Jasmine’s revenues climb 12%; broadband net adds reach 64,000 in Q2

Thai telecoms group Jasmine International posted revenues in Q2 2014 of THB3.05 billion (USD95 million), up by 12% from the THB2.73 billion turnover reported a year earlier, while the lion’s share of the sales were generated by triple-play fixed broadband network operator Triple T Broadband (3BB), which accounted for THB2.76 billion in April-June 2014, a rise of 16% year-on-year. 3BB saw 64,000 net additions to its broadband subscriber base during the three-months ended 30 June, taking its total to 1.54 million, including 1.16 million in the provinces and 380,000 in Bangkok and its surrounds. Jasmine’s total EBITDA climbed 14% in 2Q14 to THB1.72 billion.
