16 Jul 2014

Norwegian-backed cellco Telenor Pakistan has announced plans to extend its 3G service to ten more cities in July as it begins the second stage of its commercial rollout, ProPakistani writes. The cellco has launched free 3G trial services in Sarai Alamgir, Gujranwala, Kharian and Gujrat and will add Multan, Sialkot, Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Peshawar and Sargodha to that list by end-July. A full commercial launch in those cities will follow at a later date. Under the free trial, subscribers have free access to 50MB of data per day.
