Vodafone signs partnership deal with Bemobile to expand into Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands

10 Jul 2014

UK-based telecoms giant Vodafone Group has inked a non-equity Partner Market agreement with Bemobile, trading as bmobile, to become its partner in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Under the exclusive agreement, the pair will work together to offer businesses and consumers a range of products and services. Vodafone says that its multinational customers will also benefit from the setting up of two more regions for their existing international managed services, while in return bmobile will gain access to its products and services. Commenting on the deal Stefano Gastaut, chief Executive of Vodafone Partner Markets, said: ‘This strategic partnership with bmobile will enable us to expand our presence in Asia-Pacific and extend the reach of our products and services across the region,’ adding that ‘it will also deliver enhanced roaming benefits for both our consumer and multinational corporate customers’.
