Telecel seeking USD200m for 3G investment

Telecel Zimbabwe is looking to raise USD200 million to put towards the expansion of its 3G mobile network and for upgrades in preparation for the launch of 4G technology. Negotiations with banks are already taking place, a report from Bulawayo24.com suggests. The firm currently has 2.4 million active subscribers on its network and is looking to increase this to 3.3 million by the end of the year.
