AccessKenya to expand into Uganda and Rwanda

The east African internet service provider (ISP) AccessKenya, which is owned by Dimension Data of South Africa, is preparing to launch in Uganda and Rwanda as part of a KES96 million (USD1.1 million) expansion programme, Business Daily reports. The firm is set to enter Uganda’s internet market in October this year, with a launch expected to follow in Rwanda in April 2015. The fibre and wireless broadband operator also plans to expand into Burundi, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
