18 Jun 2014

Orange and the BNP Paribas group have confirmed their intention to offer retail banking customers in Africa direct access between their BNP Paribas and Orange Money accounts using their mobile phones. The new service, which has initially been made available in Cote d’Ivoire via BNP Paribas’ local affiliate BICICI, will be extended to other countries in which BNP Paribas and Orange Money are present, including Senegal. Customers can transfer funds to their Orange Money account directly from their bank account, or vice versa.
