DTAC delisting from Singapore exchange in September

12 Jun 2014

The board of Thai cellco Digital Total Access Communication (DTAC) has approved the delisting of the company from the Singapore stock exchange (SGX-ST), giving the reason that share trading volumes on the SGX-ST are low compared to its main listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). Delisting from the SGX-ST will be completed by 29 September 2014. Back in February 2011 CommsUpdate reported that DTAC planned to delist from the Singapore bourse ‘within three years’, and it changed its listing status in Singapore to secondary from primary. DTAC listed in Singapore in 1995, before floating its shares on the SET in 2007.
