Orange extends LTE coverage to Black Sea resorts

Orange Romania has announced that it has extended its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) coverage to a number of Black Sea resorts, spanning Navodari to Vama Veche. Following the deployment, Orange claims that its LTE network now covers 47% of the population, a figure which rises to 75% in urban areas. 4G subscribers can expect to achieve downlink transmission speeds of between 60Mbps and 80Mbps, the cellco notes.
