Cable & Wireless sticking with IPTV ambition

22 May 2014

Cable & Wireless (Seychelles) remains in the process of developing its long-awaited IPTV service, the British-owned telco’s head of public relations, Terry Servina, told Seychelles News Agency (SNA) this week, saying that ‘Cable & Wireless wishes to come out with a quality product that will satisfy both the clients and the company’, but without offering a launch date. Cable & Wireless (Seychelles) received necessary approvals from the Seychelles Department of Information and Communications for IPTV operations some three years ago, and in 2013 the company officially received its licence but IPTV services have yet to be introduced to customers.
