HOT – hotter, hottest: speediest broadband in Israel launched; faster still promised

15 May 2014

Israeli news site Globes reports that HOT Telecommunication Systems has launched the fastest consumer internet service currently available in the country, offering 200Mbps download speed, double the previous speed on the market for users of HOT or its larger broadband rival Bezeq. HOT also announced that by the end of this year it will launch a 500Mbps internet service. Existing customers can obtain a promotional triple-play package with 200Mbps broadband, an all-inclusive television channel package, unlimited telephone calls in Israel, and the ‘Hot Fiber Box’ communications box, for a monthly fee of ILS399 (USD115), while a standalone 200Mbps internet package costs ILS169. Standard prices after the introductory offer have not yet been published.
