True reaches quarter of a million LTE users, targets 1m this year

Thailand’s third largest cellular network operator True Corp has reached the milestone of 250,000 4G LTE mobile network users, since launching its 2100MHz dual 3G/4G infrastructure in Bangkok in May 2013, and has set a target of signing up one million LTE customers by the end of this year, having now expanded 4G coverage to 14 provinces including the capital. As reported by the Bangkok Post, True estimates that at least three million Thai mobile users (of all networks) already own LTE-capable smartphones.
