Bouygues clarifies that both its SFR offers remain valid

Despite French media group Vivendi being in exclusive talks on selling its domestic telecoms unit SFR with cableco Numericable/Altice until this Friday, Reuters reports that French conglomerate Bouygues issued a clarification this morning (2 April 2014) that both of the rival offers it made for SFR last month remain valid until 25 April. In response to requests for information from ‘certain Vivendi shareholders’, the Bouygues Telecom owner said that Vivendi could choose either of its offers made on 12 March and 20 March.
