Chinese MVNO to launch next month

Chinese online retailer JD.com expects to launch commercial mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) services under the ‘JD Mobile’ brand name in May, China Daily writes. The company was one of the first to receive an MVNO concession late last year, and successfully completed its first MVNO call on 21 March. JD Mobile is currently testing the service, but has not specified which network operator’s infrastructure it is using.
