20 Mar 2014

Belgium’s Belgacom has selected US-based JDSU to implement its airesoGEO platform across the mobile networks belonging to the former’s wireless arm Proximus. As per the agreement between the two firms, Belgacom will reportedly utilise ariesoGEO to plan and optimise its 2G, 3G and LTE networks in order to ‘ensure an optimum VIP experience for its mobile users and to enhance management reporting and network visibility’.

Belgacom said of its reasoning behind selecting the technology: ‘ariesoGEO has a strong reputation as a robust and reliable platform that will allow us to consolidate our solutions under one system and offer an exceptional customer experience.’
