Zeop upgrades top fibre speed to 100Mbps

19 Mar 2014

Reunion-based fibre-optic broadband provider Zeop is poised to unveil its long-awaited 100Mbps product suite on 1 April 2014, online portal Dom-Tom ADSL reports. A monthly subscription will be priced at EUR100 (USD139.1) per month. Previously, in October 2013, the telco achieved downlink transmission speeds of up to 100Mbps in a laboratory setting. The telco currently offers 35Mbps fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband speeds on a commercial basis, but has long promised to implement an upgrade to its ZTE-built network.
