Tigo in pole position as Conatel reveals 2013 subscriber figures

Paraguayan watchdog Consejo Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Conatel) has revealed that the country accounted for a total of 7.053 million mobile subscribers at 31 December 2013, with market leader Tigo claiming more than 50% of all subscriptions, with 3.817 million users at year-end. Personal was in second place, with 2.263 million wireless customers, comfortably ahead of Claro (508,600). State-backed Vox brought up the rear at end-2013, with 465,795 users.
