Telekom Slovenije reports first revenue increase since 2009

Slovenian incumbent telco Telekom Slovenije has reported its first annual rise in group revenues since 2009, recording a 0.5% pro forma increase in consolidated turnover to EUR799.2 million (USD1.094 billion) in FY 2013, while EBITDA fell by 1% to EUR237.8 million and net profit was 17% higher than 2012, standing at EUR52.3 million in the twelve months to 31 December 2013. Group CAPEX reached EUR111 million in 2013, compared to EUR128 million the previous year. The southeast European group saw its number of mobile customers increase by 5.2% to 2.206 million, and although fixed broadband connections across the group fell by 1.4% to 346,000, pay-TV subscribers grew by 14.8% to 323,000. Telekom Slovenije projects 2014 net profit of EUR63 million, EBITDA of EUR212 million and CAPEX investment of EUR137 million.
