State-backed incumbent Telekom Srbija will issue an interim dividend of RSD1.76 billion (USD20.8 million), or RSD8.05 per share, on 27 February news agency B92 cites a statement from Serbia’s Central Registry of Securities as saying. All citizens of Serbia were issued 31 free shares in the telco in May 2012 and each person who kept their shares will receive a payout of RSD249.55. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Telekom Srbija is owned by the Republic of Serbia (58.11%), Telekom Srbija (20%), citizens of Serbia (14.95%) and current and former employees of the telco (6.94%).
