MegaFon extends DC-HSPA+ connectivity to north-west Russia

Russian mobile giant MegaFon has reportedly upgraded its 3G network in various north-western cities with dual carrier (DC)-HSPA+ technology. According to local news reports, the cellco has introduced 42Mbps download speeds in St Petersburg and Novgorod (both North Western Federal District), Murmansk (Murmansk Oblast), Pskov (Pskov Oblast), Smolensk (Smolensk Oblast) and Kaliningrad (Kaliningrad Oblast).
