4 Feb 2014

Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) has revealed plans to introduce a new plug-and-play device which will allow its broadband subscribers to watch internet content on their televisions. The new device, TVolution, connects to any HDMI-ready TV and syncs with a PLDT HOME Fibr Wi-Fi connection. It allows customers to stream movies from Clickplay and TV series from MyPinoyTV direct from the internet, using their PLDT HOME Telpad or any Android device as remote control. Gary Dujali, PLDT VP and head of HOME broadband, stated: ‘The TVolution is just the first in many technological innovations PLDT HOME is pioneering with the aim of making it every Filipino family’s multimedia home.’
