Sprint LTE footprint reaches 340 markets

US mobile operator Sprint has announced that it has extended its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to 40 new towns and cities, taking its total number of markets served to 340. New locations covered by Sprint include Salt Lake City (Utah), Providence (Rhode Island) and Yuma (Arizona).
