20 Jan 2014

Norwegian-backed cellco Uninor, which will rebrand itself under its new ‘Telewings’ moniker once its separation from former partner Unitech has been finalised, has announced an expansion drive in the Maharashtra circle, where it will deploy more than 1,000 new sites over the next five months, news portal Domain-b reports. The programme will see the cellco’s networks extended to cover an additional seven million people, with the footprint exceeding 200 towns and villages across the operating area.
