P4 and Polkomtel in network sharing talks

Polish cellco P4, which operates under the ‘Play’ brand is involved in talks with Polkomtel regarding a possible infrastructure tie-up, revolving around shared use of an 800MHz band network Telepolis writes, citing sources close to the deal. Both providers are reportedly keen to trim operating expenditure through network sharing, although the savings are crucial for the heavily debt-laden Polkomtel, which offers services under the ‘Plus’ banner.
