HAKOM launches fourth rural broadband tender

The Croatian Postal and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has launched the fourth in a series of tenders for state/European Union grants to roll out broadband internet access in ‘areas of special state concern, mountainous areas and islands’. Following three previous rounds resulting in grants totalling HRK33 million (USD5.9 million), HAKOM yesterday announced the latest tender for state-aided projects, this time in Brod-Posavina County, with a deadline for submission of bids of 14 February 2014.
