Ukrtelecom issuing USD167m bonds

Ukrainian full-service telco Ukrtelecom plans to issue bonds worth a total amount of UAH1.4 billion (USD167 million) in March, reports Bizliga citing the local stock market regulator. Ukrtelecom, which was recently taken over by domestic conglomerate SCM, plans to use the entire proceeds from the bond issue for working capital to ensure reliable operation and efficiency of its existing telecommunications network as well as construction and modernisation of network infrastructure.
