DST Communications launches LTE in Brunei

DST Communications, Brunei’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, introduced 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services late last year, it has been confirmed. The network, which utilises the 1800MHz spectrum band, is available via both pre- and post-paid plans, and free SIM card upgrades were made available for a limited period. According to the most recent LTE report by the Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), the commercial launch occurred on 15 November 2013.
