Copaco raises wireline prices for first time in a decade

Paraguayan fixed line incumbent Copaco has raised the prices of local and long-distance calls for the first time in more than ten years. As of 1 January 2014 prices increased from PYG99 (USD0.02) per minute to PYG101 for off-peak calls, while peak rates increased from PYG132 to PYG135 per minute.
