Orange introduces HSPA+ in Cayenne

2 Jan 2014

Orange Caraibe has reportedly introduced HSPA+ technology in Cayenne, the capital city of French Guiana. In addition, 3.5G connectivity has been made available at the Felix Eboue Airport, which is situated 13km southwest of the capital. The deployment represents part of Orange’s strategy to extend mobile broadband connectivity across the French overseas territories. On 22 August 2013 Orange unveiled HSPA+ networks in both Guadeloupe (Jarry) and Martinique (Lamentin, Aime Cesaire Airport).
