Telecom Egypt signs managed services MoU with Cisco

Telecom Egypt (TE) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US vendor Cisco under which the latter will supply a range of flexible and highly efficient managed services for enterprise customers. According to Zawya, with the agreement having reportedly been finalised on the sidelines of the Cairo ICT 2013 fair, Mohammed Elnawawy, TE’s managing director and CEO, noted: ‘The Egyptian market is an exciting one, growing rapidly and with great prospects for future growth. Converged communication has become one of the basics of life, and as TE moves towards becoming a total telecom provider, we strive to provide our customers with technological solutions at competitive prices.’
