Com Hem acquiring Phonera Foretag

Swedish cableco Com Hem has agreed to acquire Phonera Foretag, a corporate telephony specialist and internet service provider (ISP) with annual sales of SEK260 million (USD39.5 million) and around 58,000 customers. The takeover is scheduled for 31 March 2014. ‘Consistent with Com Hem’s strategy of actively serving the corporate market, we are pleased to sign the acquisition of Phonera Foretag, which will enhance Com Hem’s B2B offering. With the acquisition of Phonera’s corporate operations, we are taking the next major step and prove that Com Hem will also be attractive choice for larger corporate customers,’ said Stefan Trampus, sales and marketing director at the cableco. Phonera Foretag offers a complete corporate portfolio with services in such areas as IP and mobility. The Phonera brand will continue to exist and operate under Com Hem’s administration.
