According to the Romania Insider, a consortium made up of brokerage firm SSIF Swiss Capital, investment bank UBS Limited, law firm Musat si Asociatii and brokerage firm BT Securities, has been chosen as the consultant to oversee the privatisation process of national operator RomTelecom. According to a statement from the Ministry for Information Society (MSI), the consultant’s fee will have a fixed and a variable component. The other consortium that submitted an offer was made up of Deutsche Bank and Raiffeisen Capital & Investment. However, the latter’s offer was disqualified because some of the required documents were not submitted correctly.
