Globe’s HSPA+ network coverage reaches 80%

Filipino fixed and mobile operator Globe Telecom reported last Friday that over 80% of its cellular network is now running on HSPA+ technology, noting that infrastructure already in place will also be able to support the phased introduction of 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE). The carrier also confirmed that almost 900 LTE sites in key cities and holiday destinations across the Philippines are now operational.
